ECHOS OF CONFLICT WEBINAR

Featuring Speakers - H.E. Daniel Meron, Deputy Director General for Europe at the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Dr. Aleksandra Gliszczyńska-Grabias, Assistant Professor at the Institute of Law Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences, and member of the Board of Governors of the International Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists.

The impact of the current Israel-Hamas conflict, ignited by the October 7 incursion into Israel by Hamas terrorists, extends beyond the Middle East, all the way to Europe. In our upcoming webinar, we will cast a spotlight on the troubling surge of antisemitism in Europe—a direct fallout from the war. A critical aspect of our conversation will be the examination of legal frameworks deployed by the European Union and specific member states to effectively address and combat antisemitism. We will also delve into the shifting dynamics between Israel and the European Union, as well as individual member states, throughout the current conflict.

To provide unique insights and expert perspectives, we are privileged to host two distinguished speakers:

  • Mr. Daniel Meron, Deputy Director General for Europe at the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem
  • Dr. Aleksandra Gliszczyńska–Grabias, Assistant Professor at the Institute of Law Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences, and member of the Board of Governors of the International Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists.
